Producer and photographer from Tijuana, Mexico. She graduated from the BA program in Film and Audiovisual Production at the University of Tijuana. Her work focuses on independent film, music culture, and cross-border stories emerging from the region.
She has produced several short films, including Defend the Asylum (2021), a documentary exploring the migration crisis along Mexico’s northern border. The film won the Migrants Voices Film Challenge – Emerging Talent at the San Diego Latino Film Festival and was selected for the Student Film Category at the Doqumenta International Documentary Film Festival in Querétaro, as well as Miradas Locales 2021. She also produced Velum (2020), which was an Official Selection of the Mórbido Film Festival in Mexico City.
In 2023, she produced the feature film Between Borders (Entre Dos Tierras), which received support from the IMCINE Promotion of Mexican Cinema Program through the “Support for First Films from Schools Specializing in Film.” The film premiered in 2025.
Daniela also worked as Production Manager on the short film Angel by actor and director Hoze Meléndez.
Alongside her film work, she is a music photographer and journalist, interviewing artists such as Pale Waves, Real Friends, and Mainland. Her coverage has taken her to major festivals featuring international acts, including Foo Fighters, Billy Idol, Slash, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, and Billie Eilish.
She is the co-founder of Vampiros del Norte, a production house and creative platform focused on developing independent audiovisual projects and live music sessions that highlight emerging artists and creative voices from the border region.
